Is A Network Marketing Business Opportunity
Right For Me?

If you ask me today if a network marketing business opportunity is right for me, I will tell you without hesitation, “ABSOLUTELY YES!”

However, for some people, just the mention of network marketing causes them to run the opposite direction. That could have been my response, too, since my early experience with network marketing wasn't all that great.

My early experience

In fact, I can still remember getting a call from a friend who seemed genuinely excited to get together with us; invited us over “just because;” and ended up “tricking” us into hearing about a business that could “make us rich with almost no effort on our part.”

The idea of pestering my friends until they finally said “yes" to my network marketing business opportunity, or tricking them into hearing about it in the first place, was the last thing I ever wanted to do. I'm sure you feel the same way. Having to buy and stock a bunch of products just to meet a monthly quota; needing to be away from home one or more nights a week to “do the business;” or risking important relationships in order to convince people they should buy the products or join the business is even less appealing!

However, even back then, I was intrigued by the concept of network marketing, and chances are, so are you.

The Perfect Business

That's why, when we began looking for a home business income opportunity a few years ago, I decided to do my homework and learn for myself why, especially in today's economic climate, a network marketing business opportunity is often called “The Perfect Business.”

To refresh your memory, network marketing is also known as multi-level marketing or “mlm” for short. Whatever they're called, with network marketing opportunities you distribute a product or service through a team who will duplicate what you are doing and help to leverage or increase your income. When you join the right upline team, they'll be approachable, supportive and interested in your success.

In other words, you'll be in business for yourself, but not by yourself! That's one of many reasons why a home-based mlm business opportunity is right for me.

Here are some other reasons why I believe relationship marketing is the perfect business for people who want to earn extra money and go for their dreams:

• The goal of a network marketing business opportunity is creating passive, residual income. Though there are other ways to make extra money, a network marketing business offers the greatest potential for creating a stream of income that continues to come in, month-after-month, year-after-year, with little or no ongoing effort from you.
  
  
• You don't have to stop what you're doing, go back to school or enroll in an expensive business course before you can get started and make money. Most network marketing companies provide all the training you need without additional cash outlay.
  
  In fact, having no sales experience or training often turns out to be an advantage. And most successful network marketers begin part-time.
  
  
• It's affordable! Unlike buying a traditional or franchise business, the start-up costs are generally low (under $500). Like you, I needed a business where I could start making money right away, and not be required to buy costly inventory and additional equipment to succeed.
  
  
• You don't have to re-invent the wheel. The company you decide to partner with will provide you with a proven system for success, and you'll be able to follow in the footsteps of those who have succeeded before you.
  
  
• When combined with an internet business income opportunity, you can truly work from home. This means you avoid the need for night meetings (or even daytime meetings, too); you can watch and listen to training from the convenience of your own home, at whatever time you choose; and you eliminate the need to take orders and deliver products as you maximize the power of the internet.

As successful network marketer and author Jordan Adler sums it up, network marketing is a perfect business because it “provides a simple, low-cost, turnkey opportunity.” If that's what you're looking for, then a network marketing business opportunity just might be the right opportunity for you!
