But what sets her apart as a team or personal coach is the way she brings out the best in others. Guided by biblical principles, she challenges and inspires her clients to recognize and reach their full, God-given potential, and then comes alongside as cheerleader, companion and guide through seasons of growth and change.
Sharon’s own Fresh Start came after serving on the pastoral staff of Hillside Covenant Church in Walnut Creek for seven years. She previously served as a director of women’s ministry; interim CEO of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce; and Leadership Development Coordinator for her denomination’s Pacific Southwest Conference.
She is a Certified Leadership and Talent Management Coach with the Leadership Coach Academy; a member of the Christian Coaches Network; and an adjunct instructor at William Jessup University in Rocklin.
On a personal note, Sharon and her husband Doug celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in June 2006. Two months later they moved to Rocklin, California to live near their daughters and their families.
In addition to delighting in their grandchildren, Sharon and Doug love walking, riding their bikes, easily getting up to the mountains for a day, and spending time with friends. They attend Rocklin Community Covenant Church.
